Constantly increasing productivity is one of the keys to world class companies. It doesn't matter if you are a designer, photographer, prepress or a printing service provider – the faster you can turn around jobs and the more work you can do with less resources, the more customers will beat down your doors. And it’s not impossible. Perhaps you have seen this for one week or one month in your company. When everything is working correctly you enter the “Productivity Zone” where throughput is high and rework is low. The obvious question is what prevents your company from remaining in the “Productivity Zone". In this seminar there are solutions for everybody. For some companies hi-tech solutions are the missing link such as computer to plate, a PDF workflow, color management or remote preflight or proofing. For some companies procedural solutions such as “fast response preflight” or quality control inspection steps are needed. For some companies benchmarking staff with accurate measurements is needed. The advantages and disadvantages of each strategy is outlined and an implementation plan created to help insure success
