    The first redesigned $5 bill, with pumped up security features to thwart counterfeiters, will enter circulation on March 13 and be spent at the gift shop of President Lincoln’s (whose face remains on the bill) Cottage at the Soldiers’ Home in Washington, D.C. The bill was not going to be redone, but agents discovered that counterfeiters could bleach the bills and remake them as $100 bills. more » » »
