  • Kinko’s Is Acrobat Default Printer: I

    August 20, 2007

An open letter to from David Hilleary of PrintMaster of Columbus, OH follows:

In reading of your collaboration with FedEx Kinko’s I must say that I was angered and concerned. As a 30-year owner of a small printing company, which for years has been an Adobe Service Provider, I feel your actions are like “aiding the enemy.”

With Adobe software applications featuring a connection to FedEx Kinko’s Print Online functionality in the File Menu, “providing a fast, convenient way for sending documents for print production to FedEx Kinko’s. . . “just how do you explain the fairness of that action to all of the other print production companies that have supported your products in the past?

I will be forwarding this letter and article to several Trade Associations magazines to assure that it is read by other print production companies that might have missed the Internet announcement.

    Sincerely, a valued(?) customer,
    David W. Hilleary
