    Swine Flu affecting printing operations? Not really. GAM online poll reports 7% of survey respondents affected by the flu, remaining 93% say not.

    American Printing Company,  Madison, WI, acquired The Printing Partners, also of Madison. For more

    Star-News Wilmington, NC, moved its printing to The Fayetteville Observer. Paper will be printed in Fayetteville and trucked back  for delivery.

    Toppan Printing executive David Hathaway, secretary and controller, arrested and accused of stealing $118,000 from the company.

    Hygrade Business Group, Clifton, NJ printing distributor (estab. 1920, renamed Hygrade Printing & Stationery in 1929) claims 5,000 clients and 25 years of profits as it runs ads seeking to buy competitors. 

    Printing brokerage giant InnerWorkings says quarterly results were hit "by the liquidation of two former customers combined with a difficult but necessary decision to no longer extend credit to 
    one of our top 25 customers," says CEO Eric Belcher in announcing the latest results.
