    To keep H1N1 flue sufferers away from home, Congress mulls pay mandates for 39 million workers without sick leave.  Portage (MI) Printing’s Craig Vestal tells his local paper he is scrambling during flu season to keep fully staffed.

    Video Game giant Electronic Arts will test publish four kids books, albeit as e-books readable on Nintendo hand held consoles. e-Book sales will double by 2010 to 10 million; video game sales are lagging.

    Wall St. Journal will close its South Brunswick, NJ plant, moving production to The New York Post presses of parent News Corp., which have more color, and automated inserting; South Brunswick stuffs inserts by hand says the NY Times.

    Silk Screen Painting Co. tells the Boston-Herald it is ready for printing thousands of New York Yankees World Series T-shirts if NY  (ahead 3 games to 2) beats the Phillies tonight. Irony: Silk Screen is Red Sox’s official printer!
