Pile on the Drupa Wimp Train

Well I thought I might get beat up admitting to be the Drupa wimp and I was not disappointed. I am getting phone calls and emails from colleagues saying how successful, great and exciting the show was.

The attendance, vendors and sales are impressive:

• 1,971 exhibitors from 52 countries
• 391,000 visitors from 138 countries
• 3,000 journalists from 84 countries
• $15.4 Billion in sales

Booth space:

• 64% of the companies came from countries other than Germany
• 191  from Italy
• 139 from China
• 135 from Great Britain
• 105 from the U.S.
