Getting customers to get it

I am just back from a quick trip to Madison, Wisconsin where my good friends Todd and Liz Tiefenhaler hosted a “What can Digital and VDP do for you?” seminar. I spoke to maybe 20 very engaged “creatives” from all walks of business life. My presentation was a 60+ minute talk full of applications and stories and sidebars and it went well.
Afterward, it was amazing and fun to see these people translate what I said to their own world and bombard the Kramer Printing sales people with questions…”This is what I want to do. Can you do it?”
HP Indigo was there as well and they don’t know it yet, but they will likely get another sale out of it. Hopefully, they will give me more speaking gigs like that one.
I’m rambling, I know, but there is lots to talk about regarding this trip. Mostly, I am grateful for people like Todd and Liz. They are a remarkable couple, partners in the business and completely in love with not only the industry and their customers, but each other.
That, my friends, is what I call “Great Love” and I will never again settle for anything else.
