Scorecard for the week; Be careful what you download
July 6, 2007

Okay, first, here is my scorecard from another week (well, four days’
worth) of telephone sales:

Total calls: 50
Voice Mail: 39
Live conversations: 11
Call backs from previous messages: 6
Sales: 3

Not bad, considering the short work week.

Second, I want to tell you a funny story and warn you about something at the same time….

I plugged in my iPod to my PowerBook this past Wednesday in order to download some tunes for a training ride I was doing on my bike (I am riding in a cancer fundraiser next month). My computer connected via a wireless modem. As I was dragging and dropping, I noticed a new playlist pop up on my iTunes program. It had my neighbor’s name on it. I was amazed that we were sharing a signal and curious, I clicked on it. One of the listing was “Videos.” They used to say that you can learn a lot about someone from the presets on their radio. Now, I guess you’d update that saying by changing it to “what someone has on their iPod.” Apparently, my neighbor is a big fan of, um, “performance videos.”

Be careful what you have in the public domain!
