Do U.S. printers really care about drupa?

Question: As a U.S. printer (why) should I care about drupa?
Answer: Drupa is the future. It showcases what is coming and what the manufacturers are thinking about. This show is the kickoff point for most new technology. If you are planning on new equipment purchases that will effect the future of your company, it is a show worth going to—and if you can't justify the expense, at the very least track it online through
GAM and other industry resources.

I'm a believer in going to all shows—I've never found one from which I've not learned at least 10 things. If you're going to miss drupa (it runs through June 11), then
Graph Expo, Chicago in late October would be a great choice. It's not drupa-big, but it's the largest print show in North America.

drupa 2008 already has shown us the explosion in inkjet technology. Now, we need to look at our businesses to see if there's a good fit. Man
