infoUSA Enters Print Arena

-- Graphic Arts Online, 7/28/2008 12:45:00 AM

infoGROUP, the Omaha, NE list giant, is turning its attention to integrated lettershop services—adding design, printing and mailing to its business and consumer database services. The move could signal a trend by list brokers to move back into printing. Experian, another major list house, disposed of its lettershop services in 2003, which were spun off to form Metromail.
infoUSA.com says it now provides small businesses with the service and functionality of a full-service marketing agency all online. Visitors to its Website can build a list of prospects from established databases of 14 million businesses and 210 million consumers, then use a Send a Postcard product. Customers can choose the design from hundreds of template or create their own. Full-color output is delivered on quality paper stocks, and recyclable UV coating is a standard part of the package. Mailings can be tracked from infoUSA.com.
“We are very excited about this new feature. It takes the hassle and worry off the plates of businesses," says DJ Thayer, president of the infoUSA's Small Business Group. “It aligns with infoUSA’s mission to be a total solution for businesses.” For more
