Film Prevents Tracking

-- graphic arts online, 3/1/2001

Prodeco, LLC has developed a new antitracking film for use on press transfer cylinders and net jackets. The company claims that its "No-Mark" SiliClean hybrid material maintains a special proprietary and ultra-smooth surface that creates a cushion of air between the paper stock and transfer area. Designed to prevent ink tracking, marking, and scuffing on any type and weight of stock, including plastics, the film is available for any press in three forms, including one with a unique low-tack, nonpermanent adhesive that's said to speed installation.
