WINDSOR, CONN.-Integrity Graphics has unveiled an annual scholarship competition for college students majoring in printing, graphic arts, or photography. The company will award three $2,000 scholarships to students enrolled in a college or university in Connecticut, Rhode Island, or Massachusetts.
"One of the biggest challenges facing those of us in the printing field is the lack of qualified candidates looking for employment," says Joe La Valla, president of Integrity Graphics. "We at Integrity Graphics realized that the best way for us to encourage young people to enter the world of graphic communications is to help them pay for their education. If our scholarship helps inspire just one student to enter the graphics communications field, our competition will have been a success."
