CHICAGO-R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company's financial unit opened a full-service financial document management facility in Hong Kong in February. Located in the city's financial district, the operation provides resources for both print and electronic financial communications 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"Our new and expanded Hong Kong service center demonstrates our continued success in Hong Kong, our commitment to the region, and our ability to provide the highest quality service to our clients," says John Swindell, Donnelley Financial's vice president of international sales.
Donnelley Financial entered the Hong Kong market in 1993 and is now reportedly the region's leading financial printer, managing transaction documents for China's largest privatizations and global offerings as well as the high-profile merger of Pacific Century Cyberworks and Hong Kong Telecom.
Swindell says that the new service center provides a complete range of support for the capital markets community in this important financial center, including corporations, investment bankers, and securities lawyers. He notes that clients can create financial documents quickly and easily in Hong Kong, then distribute them to every major financial center on six continents through Donnelley Financial's global network.
"Our new state-of-the-art service center offers our clients in Hong Kong convenient access to world-class financial printing and document management, a comfortable yet professional working environment, and the technology required for IPOs, privatizations, mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions," explains Paul Leatherdale, Donnelley Financial's sales director for Asia. "In addition, the new center is Hong Kong's only typesetting hub, allowing for faster turn-around and making Donnelley Financial a regional service leader."
