Schawk Names Timothy Cunningham CFO

DES PLAINES, IL, Sep 23, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- Schawk, Inc. (NYSE: SGK), a leading provider of brand point management services, enabling companies of all sizes to connect their brands with consumers to create deeper brand affinity, announced that Timothy J. Cunningham, currently the Company's interim chief financial officer, was named Schawk's new chief financial officer effective September 18. He will continue to report to David Schawk, president and chief executive officer.

In his new position, Tim will continue with the overall management of Schawk's corporate finance, financial reporting and financial management systems. His 30-year career includes positions serving as the chief financial officer for three public companies, with industry experience in food, consumer products, packaging, electronics, software and consulting services. Most recently, Tim was a partner with Tatum LLC, an executive services and consulting firm, and also served as chief financial officer of Pregis Corporation, a $1 billion global packaging business. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society, Tim has a Master of Business Management from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
