Bobst Direction ’08 Debuts New Machines

(Press Release) Roseland, New Jersey – Direction ’08, the Bobst Folding Carton Open House, will take place October 2 – 7, 2008 at the Bobst Group North America Demonstration and Training Center in Roseland, New Jersey. Direction ’08 will focus on sustainability in the folding carton arena. Product and process specialists will address the technology, innovation and best practices being used to meet and support the sustainability efforts of folding carton converters around the world and in our own communities.
Direction ’08 will showcase the “Next Generation” of Bobst diecutters, foil stampers and folder-gluers. Many new models will be making their North American debut at the event. Live production demonstrations will highlight their capabilities and provide visitors with the opportunity to experience the latest technology first hand. Machines on display will include the Bobst Novacut 106 E, Expertcut 106 LER and Commercial 106 diecutters, Expertfoil 104 FR and Steuer Foiljet 104 FBR foil-stampers. 
Four Bobst folder-gluers with a range of ancillary equipment will also be on display including the Masterfold 110 A3 with GyroBox and Crash lock bottom module, Visionfold 110 A-2 CS with the Handypack GT, Expertfold 110 A-2 CS with AccuBraille and Cartonpack GT and the Starfold 170. A Plasmatreat Simulator and other peripheral equipment will also be on display.
Over thirty industry suppliers will take part in the mini trade fair that will be held during the event. If you didn’t get a chance to visit DRUPA, then you can’t afford to miss Direction ‘08.
