Customer event in Chicago to offer in-depth demonstrationsIt’s final call time for printers who want to reserve their spot at manroland’s Open House event in Chicago on June 23-24. The “Make No Small Plans” event is just that, featuring the company’s large format 906LV press but offering much more over the two day session.
With limited space still available, printers who want to attend should call Angela Marshall at 630.920.3984 or email: angela.marshall@manroland.us.
Learning how to profit in a crowded marketplace
The June 24 open house in Westmont follows an architectural boat trip through downtown on the Chicago River and a dinner the day before. A day of presentations and demonstrations will provide access to a number of guest speakers, including hearing from your peers who have experienced success with their investments in manroland’s large format equipment.
“We want printers familiar with the run speeds and output quality of their 40” presses to understand the productivity and outstanding benefits of our large format 56-73” presses, and how they could make a significant impact on their bottom line,” said manroland CEO Vince Lapinski. “Today’s economy places demands on printers to be more cost efficient in the use of their equipment and more competitive in their products. Our message is, “We hear you”, and by attending this event, they’ll learn how they can succeed on several levels with a 900 series large format press.”
No small plans on this itinerary
A full day of discussions and hands-on demonstrations is being planned. Attendees will have the opportunity to view several demonstrations and ask questions as work is being performed.
They will learn about advanced manroland systems in use, including the printnet system with unmatched workflow integration and automation for quicker make readies. With power plate loading or autoplate loading, a double sized impression cylinder that reduces stress and eliminates marking on sheets, and a gear train driveshaft and hydrobrake combination that eliminates register deviation when changing speed, the 900 large format press produces high print quality with less waste, less stress, and results in a lower cost-per-copy benefit for printers.
In addition to meeting customers who are having success with the large format 900 presses, attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with various industry leaders and join in on a discussion of the FAQ’s of large format printing. Representatives from Bobst, MBO and Kodak are scheduled to be in attendance and available for questions. manroland’s Technology Center in Westmont serves as Kodak’s premier demonstration center for its new equipment. Attendees will also learn about the resource and partnership aspects of manroland, which involves the printservices and printcom divisions of the company, and how it best can be utilized to manage business costs, performance and quality.
“We have been a large format leader for over 75 years since introducing the ROLAND Ultra large format press in 1933,” continued Lapinski. “In a marketplace full of 40-inch presses, the capability of the large format 900 press allows printers to separate themselves from their competitors. manroland customers have the ability to seamlessly expand their business with POP displays, packaging and additional general commercial applications. Most importantly, no other large format press today can match the output quality, automated performance and efficiency of our 900 series.” www.manroland.us.com
