Dan Maurer Named VP Postpress Product Management, Heidelberg (Press Release)

KENNESAW, Ga. – May 2, 2008 – Heidelberg USA, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Dan Maurer to Vice President, Postpress Product Management, effective immediately. Dan, who reports to James Martin, Senior Vice President, Product Marketing, first joined Heidelberg in April 2003 during the expansion of the company's digital business. Dan returned to Heidelberg in the Fall of 2007, bringing a wide range of experience back to the organization from previously held positions at Kodak and Xerox. His industry expertise will continue to enhance Heidelberg's commitment to advancing postpress technology across its full line of automated postpress equipment, including folders, cutters, saddlestitchers, adhesive binding equipment, diecutters and folding carton gluers. Dan holds a BS in Applied Physics from State University of New York, Geneseo, NY , an MS in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from University of Rochester. Dan and his family presently reside in Canton, GA.
