PRESS RELEASE: Sinapse Launches New Press Training Simulator Products for drupa

April 16, 2008 – Sinapse, the world’s leading supplier of training simulators for web and sheetfed presses, announces a range of new press training simulator products and services for its biggest ever showing at drupa, May 29 to June 11th.

Sinapse is centrally located in Hall 6 at stand/booth 06 B29, not far from UPM and MAN Roland.

Sinapse new press simulator features at drupa include:

Sheetfed Press Training Simulators:

- New colour control tools including spectrophotometer capability for ISO standard operator production training

- New session history feature graphically showing each copy pulled

- Added possibility for adding special colours to normal CMYK – particularly useful for packaging applications

Packaging Gravure Simulators

- Now available in Russian and German

- Multi-site licensing now available

Flexographic Simulators for Wide Web, Narrow Web and Corrugated

- Version 4 now released

- Multi-site licensing now available

Heatset Web Press Training Simulators:

- New Goss M-600 simulator with Omnicon interface

- More complete simulation of process variables, dryer behaviour, technical audit parameters

- Optional high resolution available for print copy display

Newspaper Web Press Training Simulators:

- Full line of press simulators for Goss Universal and Uniliner presses

- Optional high resolution available for print copy display

For all Sheetfed & Web Simulator Systems from 2008:

- Automated Training Analysis (ATA) of training sessions - permits distance supervision of on-site training and increased efficiency in benchmarking performance

- Full simulator training capability built into a production press control systems or as a virtual training capability in the classroom

- Multiple training languages - including Chinese for the first time

Sinapse training simulators are already available integrated into press control systems from many suppliers including Goss International, TKS, Honeywell, EAE and ABB, with over 1,000 systems in operation worldwide already.

At drupa Sinapse supplied training simulator capabilities & demonstrations can be found at all these locations, in addition to its own stand in Hall 6:

Goss International in Hall 17 – 17 A76 – training simulator integrated into press control system desks for newspaper presses including the Goss Universal and Goss Uniliner

Stop press for drupa: Sinapse training simulator capabilities are also now available on the Goss M-600 commercial web press range

UPM in Hall 6 – 06 C43 – sheetfed, heatset commercial web, newspaper training simulators for best practice training in the use of paper & other consumables

ABB in Hall 16 – 16 B20 – simulator integrated into ABB press control system
