It also offers: a history and evolution of printing; introduction to the printing processes; prepress—typography, copy and art preparation, image assembly, digital prepress and plate-making; printing processes—digital presses, inks and statistical process control; postpress—binding and finishing; and paper—from pulping through manufacture, characteristics. The book can be ordered in quantities of 10 plus online at www.ippocketpal.com; single copies are available from PIA/GATF at gain.net.
