Cylinders Turning at Synergy Graphics

Printing cylinders are once again turning at Synergy Graphics, formerly known as Sunny Industries. The 400-employee, Mazomanie, WI-based printer closed Dec. 22 after losing its TVGuide contract and was purchased out of receivership for $7.8 million earlier this month at auction by Synergy, Fridley, MN (e-GAM 2/2/07)

The company called back about 50 workers and plans to rehire more, reports a local newspaper.

Synergy Graphics operates a 190-employee commercial and packaging operation near Minneapolis. Last summer Synergy acquired Scoville Graphics (e-GAM 8/2/06).
