FRONTLINE: Adobe Removes Kinko's Button

By Lisa Cross -- Graphic Arts Online, 11/1/2007

Adobe released Version 8.1.1 of its Acrobat and Reader programs, removing the controversial “Send to FedEx Kinko's” link (button) as promised. When the software maker announced its plans to include the button, this summer, an industry coalition formed to persuade Adobe to remove it, calling it unfair to competition. The software update can be found at www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
