Acquisition Yields Insert Powerhouse

Vertis Communications, Baltimore, agreed to acquire American Color Graphics, Brentwood, TN, to form an advertising insert printer and premedia services provider with revenues of $1.9 billion. When the deal is complete, the combined firm will be led by Vertis chairman and CEO Mike DuBose.
