Cenveo Makes Deal to Buy Cadmus

Cenveo, Stamford, CT, $1.75 billion in sales, (ranked #7 on the GAM/GABB 101 list of top printing companies), agreed to acquire Cadmus Communications, Richmond, VA, $436 million and sales (ranked #25 on the GAM/GABB 101), for $430 million. Cadmus' board of directors unanimously approved the deal, expected to close in Q1. Cenveo recently lost a hostile bid to takeover Banta to RR Donnelley. www.cenveo.com, www.cadmus.com
