NELA VCP vision control plate punching system maintains registration through an integrated vision alignment system. Printing plates are registered according to the image, using CCD cameras and two register marks exposed on the plates by the platesetter. The VCP can be connected to any type of CTP or conventional plate exposure system. Custom line-ups and specific plate conveyors and stackers are available upon request. The unit features an automatic plate infeed, punch tools for required press notches, three-point register for pre-alignment and back-up, and stop locations to match CTP devices. www.nelaternes.com
