From the bender, a barcode reader indicates that the plates will be transported onto the plate distribution cart, automatically indexing the plates into the bins for storage of bent plates. Océ's CPS900 30-ipm color printer/copier features “jam free” color copy press technology. Incorporating the 1000C controller for managing color output, it doesn't require user calibration. Fujifilm's GS Brillia HD processless thermal plate is compatible with most thermal (830nm) platesetters and is approved for 1%-99% dots at 200 lpi conventional screens or 300 lpi for hybrid and FM. The non-ablative plate carries a latent image with distinct contrast, allowing for visual inspection after imaging. MultiGrain technology maintains ink and water balance as with conventional Fujifilm plates. It requires an imaging power very close to the firm's existing thermal plates.
