Publication Printer Awarded Patent

Concord Litho, Concord, NH, received a patent for its CoverSleeve invention, a tabbed magazine cover format that stores a multi-page advertising insert inside. Patent No. 6,974,158, is the first issued to the $40 million commercial printer. CoverSleeve covers are produced inline, in one pass, on a web press. The format can be produced for digest- or full-size publications, perfect bound or saddlestitched.
