Among all professionals in creative markets, the view of digital color printing as a "sales opportunity" has fluctuated in recent years but has not topped 10%, according to TrendWatch data. Researchers say interest by the corporate design market makes up much of the demand. Professionals are employed by advertising agencies, corporate design and graphic design departments, commercial photography firms, and catalog, magazine, and book publishing companies.
Creative professionals in ad agencies are far and away the most interested in database marketing projects as a "sales opportunity" in a recent TrendWatch survey.
Nonetheless, in the recent colordigital.com database survey conducted by TrendWatch, the majority of digital printers list personalization and versioning as one of the services they offer.
