Print Outlook '01, called the industry's annual marketing and economic conference, will be held December 4-5 at the Omni-Sheraton Hotel in Washington, D.C. The event is sponsored by NPES The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies.

Professor Frank Romano of the Rochester (N.Y.) Institute of Technology is a keynote speaker, as is economist Michael K. Evans of the Evans Group.

The program includes a Washington update, economic reviews of the industry, the outlook for advertising, and the outlook for purchases of equipment and supplies.

A panel will address print buyers and e-commerce topics.
