Imaging Pact

-- Graphic Arts Online, 11/1/2000

The Document Imaging division of Eastman Kodak has agreed to purchase, for $150 million in cash, Bell & Howell's worldwide imaging business, including the company's digital scanners, micrographics, media, supplies, and equipment services businesses. The unit employs about 850 people.

"This agreement underscores our intention to take advantage of growth opportunities in the worldwide document imaging marketplace," says Candy Obourn, president of the Document Imaging division.
