Linux User Groups Grow

A recent tabulation of U.S. Linux user groups shows a total of 431 in existence, with the following states having over 10 user groups: California (49), Florida (17), Illinois (19), Indiana (13), New York (27), North Carolina (16), Pennsylvania (15), Texas (16), Virginia (14), and Washington (13).
On a worldwide basis, there are over 1,200 user groups including the U.S. count. The user group list is maintained by Webmaster, Linux Online, Inc. For more information, visit www.linux.org/users/index.html.
