Two Create On-Line Business Exchange

Staff -- Graphic Arts Online, 11/1/2000

PrintNation (www.printnation.com), an on-line hub for commercial printers, and Sampa Corporation, franchiser of Signal Graphics printing centers (www.signalgraphics.net), will create a co-branded on-line business exchange site through which Signal Graphics franchisees throughout the world will be able to purchase the supplies necessary to run their business operations.

Under the terms of this agreement, PrintNation and Signal Graphics will work together to provide franchisees with streamlined access to PrintNation's catalog of paper and printing supplies and improved supply chain planning and execution by using the site to track trends in franchisee buying and selling trends.

"Our strategic relationship with Sampa Corporation provides Signal Graphics franchisees with significant inventory and capital investment savings," says PrintNation president Tony Seba. "Franchise owners will now enjoy fast, flexible access to a wealth of products at specially negotiated prices. At the same time, the site will provide Sampa with the capabilities for better planning and support of their franchisees."
