Printers Vote Health Care Top Concern
Staff -- graphic arts online, 12/1/2004
Health care costs topped the list of printing industry executives' legislative concerns, according to a recent member survey conducted by Printing Industries of America. This is the third year in a row that this issue has been the number-one concern. Energy costs ranked second, followed by state sales and use taxes, federal taxes and postal reform. PIA conducts the survey in preparation for its biannual planning meeting. The results are used in conjunction with political election results to determine the association's legislative strategy and agenda.
