Sourcebook 2004: A Resource at Your Fingertips
The Editors -- graphic arts online, 12/1/2004
Sourcebook 2004 is published by Graphic Arts Monthly to help print-industry buyers make informed purchasing decisions about equipment and supplies. Called "The Official Phone Book of the Printing Industry," GAM's Sourcebook is designed like a telephone directory. The Manufacturer's Index, which starts on the facing page, is an alphabetized list of hundreds of suppliers to the industry. The index features addresses, phone and fax numbers, toll-free numbers, key contact names, e-mail addresses and Internet websites. The Product Index, found on page 43, helps locate manufacturers of a particular product or service. An expansive list of alpha-ordered categories contains company names and phone numbers. Finally, Swatch Center provides a guide to popular paper choices (www.swatchcenter.com).
This content also can be accessed via the Internet. Sourcebook On-Line (www.gammag.com) is updated weekly to ensure the most accurate references. Visitors looking for more detailed information can choose to be linked to websites of a select number of manufacturers.
We invite our readers to explore Sourcebook 2004 and keep it handy for future reference throughout the coming year. Also, we thank our advertisers for helping us to provide this valuable industry resource. Special thanks to Gwen Kennedy, directory manager for Reed Business Information, who maintains the Sourcebook database for GAM.
