ENGLEWOOD, COLO.–Cenveo has acquired Waller Press, a high-quality web and sheetfed printing company located in South San Francisco. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the largest markets for advertising and graphic arts," reports Paul V. Reilly, chairman, president, and chief executive of Cenveo. "The Waller Press acquisition will allow Cenveo to provide both the local and nationwide markets with a unique set of services from the company's web and perfector presses, as well as from its large in-house bindery."
The acquisition is the second by Cenveo in recent months. Waller's equipment and capabilities will add web, sheetfed, and bindery equipment to service the northern California market.
"This purchase will fulfill our goal of better serving the changing and growing needs of advertising agencies and corporate clients throughout northern California," adds Reilly. "Together with our Cenveo Anderson Lithograph facility, we can now provide northern California customers with easy access to one of the broadest selections of web and sheetfed color printing solutions from six-, eight-, and 10-color presses, in one geographic locale."
