Increasingly, Creatives Favoring On-Line OKs

Among creative professionals, as shown in the current TWGA survey, a whopping 72% report using on-line proofing for final approval, while 28% do not. At the same time, 41% of creative professionals say their use of on-line proofing for final approval is increasing; 3% say it's decreasing.

Agencies are more likely than other market segments to be using on-line proofing for final approval: 79% do so, followed by 78% of photographers, 73% of graphic designers, and 63% of corporate designers.

Meanwhile, use of on-line proofing is staying the same for 29% of creative professionals, including 38% of agencies, 33% of photographers, 28% of corporate designers, and 26% of graphic designers. Still, on-line proofing is not used by 37% of corporate designers, 27% of graphic designers, 22% of commercial photographers, and 21% of agencies.
