Quad Continues Investments

Quad/Graphics, Sussex, Wis., has purchased six finishing systems, a Müller Martini Supra saddle stitcher, plus five Sitma Variawrap polywrappers, with a total value exceeding $8 million. The new purchase comes atop orders that the privately held company announced in May for nine Heidelberg finishing systems valued at $50 million, in addition to 10 large-format web presses from Heidelberg and MAN Roland worth about $150 million.
