New Chief of Heidelberg USA

James P. Dunn has succeeded Niels M. Winther as president of Heidelberg USA, taking responsibility for the management of all sales, service, and support functions provided by Heidelberg's largest sales and service unit. Dunn, 55, has been with Heidelberg for more than 30 years; he most recently was in charge of the holding company that supports all of Heidelberg's North and South American activities.
Winther, 49, joined the Heidelberg Eastern unit of the East Asiatic Company (EAC) in 1977, then moved to Beijing in 1985 to manage EAC's China operations. He returned to the U.S. in 1989 to run EAC's subsidiary, Baumfolder, then went to Singapore in 1992 and Thailand in 1994 for EAC. He joined Heidelberg USA in 1996, becoming president and chief executive in 1999.
