Hewlett-Packard has announced its largest-ever imaging and printing services contract. Under the terms of the contract, signed with Ford Motor Company, HP will help Ford define a consistent global printing and imaging strategy. The agreement affects 150,000 users and optimizes a fleet of more than 15,000 printing devices.

Heidelberg is providing Cunard Line's latest ship, Queen Mary 2, with a complete line of customized printing systems. Cunard commissioned the company to design and install prepress, sheetfed, and postpress systems that could withstand ocean currents and meet the ship's daily printing needs. The ship holds a two-color Printmaster QM 46-2 press, a Quicksetter 300 CTP device for polyester plates, a Polar 66 cutter, and a Quickfolder T 34.
