Magazine Awards Contract

NEW YORK CITY—BusinessWeek awarded Quad/Graphics a five-year, $16 million contract. Beginning with the February 16, 2004 issue, Quad/Graphics' Hartford, Wis., plant will produce 330,000 copies weekly of BusinessWeek for distribution throughout the Midwest.

"As the nation's largest printer of weekly magazines, we are unusually well equipped to meet BusinessWeek's needs," reports Thomas A. Quadracci, Quad/Graphics' president and chief executive. "In fact, our stable of new, versatile production equipment, all seamlessly integrated to maximize quality under the strictest of deadlines, will serve BusinessWeek well into the future."

Quad/Graphics' Hartford plant, located approximately 35 miles north of Milwaukee, measures more than one million square feet and employs nearly 1,000 people.
