Transcontinental Inc., Montreal, a leading Canadian printer of flyers, books, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, and directories, has acquired Optipress, which operates nine printing plants, a network of digital reproduction centers, and 25 weekly and biweekly newspapers.
The acquisition will enable Transcontinental to extend its network of flyer plants to the Atlantic provinces.
