Late last month, Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG), Norwalk, Conn., signed a letter of intent with RealTimeImage, Inc. (RTI), San Bruno, Calif., to acquire RTI's graphic arts division, which includes RealTimeProof products for Web-based, high-resolution collaborative proofing and approval management. The rest of RTI will focus on healthcare imaging.
KPG plans to acquire five RealTimeProof-branded products: ASP, Express, Private Label, Partner, and Classic.
As planned, RTI's division, including research and development, sales, and technical support staff, all led by Yehuda Messinger, presently its executive vice president, will become part of the KPG organization.
