Eastman Kodak Company has completed its $250 million acquisition of Scitex Digital Printing from Scitex Corporation. Operating under the name Kodak Versamark Inc., the wholly owned subsidiary of Kodak will be headed by former Scitex Digital Printing president and chief executive Nachum "Homi" Shamir.
Nashua Corporation has acquired the assets of the Magellan wide-format graphics product line from PMCo LLC for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition will be integrated into the sales, marketing, and manufacturing operations of Nashua's Dietzgen wide-format business unit, say company officials.

Color Craft Printing, Charleston, W.Va., has installed a six-color Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 74 sheetfed press, Prinect PrintReady prepress system, and Prosetter platesetter. The installation makes Color Craft the first fully automated print shop in Charleston, says the printer.

UPM-Kymmene is changing its name to UPM following the request of employees encouraging the company to drop the difficult-to-pronounce "Kymmene" from its name. UPM originally stood for United Paper Mills, a founding company.
