Quad/Graphics, Pewaukee, Wis., has earned a seven-year, $35 million contract renewal from Crain Communications, Inc., New York City, to print and distribute Advertising Age, Television Week, Business Insurance, and Automotive News, plus one monthly, B-to-B. Quad is to print more than 15 million tabloid-size Crain magazines each year in its plant in Sussex, Wis.

Martin J. Paul, who has spent more than 50 years in the graphic arts industry, most recently with Sun Chemical, has formed M.J. Paul Associates, a speakers organization based in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.; phone (310) 375-3136.

Quebecor World Inc., Montreal, has won a multi-year contract extension worth more than $70 million to print about 210 telephone directory titles for Yellow Book USA, the nation's largest independent directory publisher, which produces 71 million directories in 40 states.

Anderson Lithograph, Los Angeles, a high-end commercial printing company, has appointed Mark Tennant as president and general manager, reporting to John Fosmire, chairman and former president. Tennant joined Anderson, now part of the Mail-Well Company, in 1975.

Nachum (Homi) Shamir has been appointed president and chief executive of Scitex Corporation Ltd., Tel Aviv, Israel, reporting to Ami Erel, chairman.

Frank B. Woods, founder of Woods Lithographics, Phoenix, Ariz., has joined the Heidelberg Consulting Services Group as a consultant-at-large, assigned to serve sheetfed, digital, prepress, and finishing customers.

Mike Shiels, lead printing and publishing instructor for Waukesha County Technical College, Pewaukee, Wis., has been named Educator of the Year by the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation.
