Two Paper Cutters

The Challenge Machinery Company has introduced its latest edition of Champion paper cutters. Challenge Champions, available in 30½"- and 37"-wide models, come with Category 4 light curtains that guard the cutter opening for enhanced safety, says the company. Challenge Champions' improved controls include a sensor that detects the presence or absence of the false clamp plate in relation to the clamp, which determines the forward limit of the backgauge without the intervention of the machine operator.

Strapping Machine

Dynaric, Inc. offers its new D-2400 high-speed bottom-seal strapping machine, capable of strapping at up to 50 cycles per minute depending on package size. The D-2400 features a newly designed and patented ejector finger that enables packages of any size to be strapped at low- to no-tension settings without jamming the sealing head due to an unreleased strap, says the manufacturer. With easy automatic strap feeding, in which no threading is required, and maintenance-free operation, the machine is ideal for inexperienced operators, claims Dynaric.
