Paper Week Takes Manhattan

The American Forest & Paper Association, Washington, D.C., staged the 126th annual Paper Week event in New York City, organizing program sessions on pulp and paper, packaging, and recycling, along with committee meetings for executives involved in printing-writing papers, bleached and recycled paperboard, containerboard, kraft and paper bag, recycling, recovered fiber, and tissue.
Arnold M. Nemirow, chairman, president, and chief executive of Bowater Inc., was elected chairman of the group. W. Henson Moore continues as president and chief executive.
