Quebecor World announced several new agreements with existing customers Telefonica de Espana, Abril, Avon, and Reader's Digest, all of which are expanding their businesses in Latin America.

Yellow Book USA has announced the completion of its purchase of Tustin, Calif.-based National Directory Company (NDC) for $69 million. With revenues of $53 million, NDC publishes 48 yellow pages directories in the southwestern U.S.

Scitex Corporation Ltd. has announced that it will combine its wholly owned wide-format digital printing systems subsidiary Scitex Vision Ltd. with that of venture-backed ink-jet technology developer Aprion Digital Ltd. in a share exchange agreement.

Private equity investment firm Saratoga Partners signed an agreement to acquire specialty printing inks maker Sericol for approximately $115 million in cash and assumed debt.

Kinko's Inc. has bought back 25% of its stock from shareholders in a $460 million recapitalization deal, private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice announced.

Konica Corporation and Minolta Company, Ltd. have announced that they plan to merge in August, creating what is expected to be a $3.86 billion Konica-controlled entity.

Enovation Graphic Systems Inc. has acquired southwestern regional graphic arts equipment and supplies distributor Nelson-Keystone Inc.

Fujitsu Limited has announced that it will transfer its printer systems business to Fuji Xerox Company, Ltd. Fujitsu employees and assets will be transferred to Fuji Xerox, but Fujitsu will continue to market and maintain printer systems for its customers.

Océ has announced the integration of two of its business units, Océ Production Printing Systems and Océ Document Printing Systems. The integrated company will be called Océ Printing Systems USA, Inc.

G.T.C. Transcontinental Group announced that its board of directors has approved a request to change its name to Transcontinental Inc. The board also approved a two-for-one stock split, subject to regulatory and shareholder approval.

Air Products, Lehigh Valley, Pa., announced that it plans to sell its graphic arts business and Langley, S.C.-based production facility to UCB Chemicals Corporation, Brussels, Belgium. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
