Variable Data: 'How-to' Event
By Staff -- graphic arts online, 10/1/2002
The Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (GATF) has developed a new "how-to" conference for owners of digital printing presses—and prospective buyers of the equipment—to address such issues as database management, design and production, postal considerations, and selling and marketing.
GATF will hold its Variable Data Printing Conference November 3-6 at its facility in Sewickley, Pa. The meeting is jointly sponsored by the Digital Printing Council.
Speakers include Frank Romano of the Rochester (N.Y.) Institute of Technology, PrintCom consultant Bill Lamparter, consultant Bill Farquharson of PrintTech, and Doug Bober, GATF's specialist in on-demand printing.
To register, phone Gwen Martin at GATF at (800) 910-4283, or visit gain.net and choose Training and Meetings.
