Terry Gould has been appointed director of sales for the commercial papers group of Georgia-Pacific, which is based in Atlanta.

Prisco (Printer's Service), Newark, N.J., has opened a 50,000-square-foot facility near Charlotte, N.C. to manufacture coatings used in the offset, flexographic, and rotogravure processes.

John A. Luke Jr., president and chief executive of MeadWestvaco Corporation, Stamford, Conn., will add the role of chairman when Jerome F. Tatar retires from that position in December.

PODi, a not-for-profit initiative promoting digital printing, has appointed International Business Machines to its executive board. Also, the organization has launched a transactional print initiative.

Package Service Company, LLC, Kansas City, Mo., has acquired Slate Packaging Inc. Label Group, Philadelphia.
