The Vijuk-H+H KL 112 folder, distributed by Vijuk Equipment, Inc., features automatic quick-set roller adjustment capability, a special transfer unit for efficient paper transport, and quick-release shafts for cutting, perforating, and creasing. Says the company, the offering—which comes with two, four, six, eight, 10, or 12 folding plates per station in right-angle or tandem configurations—folds down to 5/8" and accommodates sheet sizes from 2x2 3/4" to 17 5/8x47" depending on feeder and folder width. Standard widths are 17 5/8" and 13 3/4", with four feeder options.

Global Graphics has released its Jaws PDF Courier software tool designed for secure document delivery. According to the manufacturer, the offering links companies directly with print centers and other service providers for the efficient and secure submission of ready-to-print jobs over the Internet. The application is an encrypted client/server document delivery system that enables print service centers to create customized specifications for PDF file creation and output, and to distribute the software as a complete "own-brand" PDF workflow package to clients.

Sunraise, Inc. has introduced its Model SE/15 high-production thermographer, which features the ability to increase or decrease vacuum with digital precision, a new vacuum head that focuses vacuum precisely to the surface of the stock, and a smoother resin belt. A new infeed front conveyor clutch stops the front conveyor and resin belt independent of the rest of the conveyor system, say company officials, while new mesh rollers in the heating section offer tracking features that prevent slipping and side-to-side motion of the conveyor mesh.

Pantone Inc.'s trade-in/trade-up program for its Pantone formula guide enables clients that purchase a new coated/uncoated guide to return an old guide and receive a free solid matte version. The new guide features brighter paper stock most often specified by designers, and 147 additional colors not found in older guides, for a total of 1,114 colors.
