Suction-Feed Paper Folder

Standard Duplicating Machines Corporation has expanded its line of desktop document finishing equipment with the introduction of its new Docu-Fold paper folder. The machine folds at speeds up to 21,900 sheets per hour, says the company, and includes a feed system that accepts either curled or static-charged paper in a variety of weights.

Wire-O Tabletop Finisher

James Burn International has introduced its PB3000 Wire-O finisher, designed to produce a wide array of finished documents with up to 210 sheets (with optional 2:1 die). Says the manufacturer, the versatile electric punch and manual closer is simple to operate and features a new time-saving punch and hang insertion with pushbutton operation.

Big-Number Claim Tags

Blanks/USA has introduced its Big #Tags line of claim tags with numbers visible at a distance. The tags, featuring consecutive numbers up to 2" high, can run one-, three-, or four-up in offset presses, say company officials. Big #Tags feature a 3/4"-diameter hole that slips over rearview mirrors, handles, and knobs, and can be ordered with or without numbers and perfs in several colorful stocks, including fluorescent Hot Stock and all-weather PolyArt II.

RIPs for Wide Printers

MacDermid ColorSpan, Inc. has announced the availability of two new software RIPs for its wide-format printers. The ColorMark Personal Software RIP and ColorMark Professional Software RIP both feature a PostScript 3-compatible interpreter, ColorMark color management software with over 200 color profiles, and support for external or onboard printer color calibration devices.
